As a qualified Integrative counsellor, my practice is based on a person-centred perspective. I aim to meet you where you are and to support you in developing a greater sense of autonomy over your life.
Together, we can work through your issues to help you understand what has happened and how it may be affecting your present. I believe that the therapeutic journey is a collaborative one, and I create therapy uniquely tailored to you. I’ve been working with the highly regarded charity, Westmeria, who support individuals across an array of issues on a donation basis over twenty-four sessions.

To honour the uniqueness and autonomy of my clients, I approach any difficulties and obstacles in a mutual, empathetic and interpersonal way using active listening. Using this approach allows me to respond to the person I am sitting with rather than applying a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to everyone.
Our therapeutic relationship is central to how I work. I maintain a neutral and non-judgemental stance and see the work of therapy as a joint venture – it is not me ‘doing’ but us working together. My own experience of counselling was life-changing and incredibly liberating; I am passionate about supporting others, so they learn how to self-care and be kinder to themselves.
How to get started with counselling
Getting started is simple. Just reach out, and I’ll guide you through the next steps with an initial FREE informal consultation of up to 30 minutes. I’ll ask a few questions to understand what support you’re looking for, and you can choose between seeing me in person at my Bromley-based practice room in Kent or online sessions via Zoom, so no matter where you live, you can undergo therapy from the comfort of your own home.
What to expect in your first session:
I understand that you may feel nervous when you first attend counselling - don’t worry, it’s normal. I will do everything I can to help you feel at ease. During the first session, I will warmly welcome you and introduce the counselling contract. This is an agreement of how we plan to work together, which is key to ensuring you are informed and know what to expect. Counselling contracts cover several things, including confidentiality, ethics, supervision of the counsellor, cancellations, data protection and much more. This will all be covered with you in the session, so you can ask any questions you may have. Session can take up to 75 mins (standard sessions are 50 minutes).
